How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?

I wanted to work at Bain because it is the leading firm in my area of specialization (Private Equity). I knew it was the right company for me when I felt a strong personal connection during the interview process. The people I met were both intellectually rigorous and genuinely supportive, which gave me confidence that Bain was a place where I could grow, learn, and enjoy working with others.

“Build Your Own Bain” means creating a thriving career on your own terms. How have you been able to “Build Your Own Bain?”

I’ve been able to “Build My Own Bain” by progressing to a Senior Manager role while navigating major personal milestones. I relocated to a new city and had two children in quick succession, while continuing to grow professionally and take on increased responsibility. Bain’s flexibility and trust made it possible for me to balance personal priorities with career progression, and to shape a path that works for both my family and my ambitions.

Share some of your favorite work (personal or professional) you’ve done while at Bain.

One of my favorite projects at Bain was a pro bono case for a nonprofit organization that raises funds, selects high-impact charities around the world based on rigorous, data-driven metrics, and supports them over several years. The team was exploring new developments, and we helped them assess these opportunities.

I truly loved this project — contributing my skills to support people who dedicate their work to helping others felt incredibly meaningful. The topic itself was fascinating and allowed me to discover a world I was not familiar with at all. It was both intellectually stimulating and deeply rewarding, and it remains one of the most impactful experiences I’ve had at Bain.
