Damian Stephenson

Damian Stephenson leads Bain's Enterprise Technology practice in Asia-Pacific. He is also a leader in our Financial Services and Performance Improvement practices. With nearly 20 years at Bain across Asia-Pacific and North America, he supports clients across industries on complex, technology-enabled strategy, transformation, and performance improvement. In his work, Damian helps organizations maximize value from their technology investments to drive business value. His focus areas include technology strategy, core technology modernization, and technology cost and productivity improvement.

Prior to joining Bain, Damian held a variety of roles in financial services and technology. He spent three years at a major Australian bank, focusing on technology-related mergers and acquisitions and large program delivery assurance. Earlier in his career, he founded a small technology consulting firm and led the engineering and sales teams at a technology start-up.

Damian holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in business information technology from the University of New South Wales, where he was a Co-op Scholar.
