Søren Konnerup

Søren Konnerup is a member of our Energy & Natural Resources and Financial Services practices.

He focuses on strategy and business transformation across energy and financial services. Within energy, Søren's focus is on renewable energy – particularly offshore wind and energy transition topics, where he has led strategy work for clients across industries within renewable electricity, green gas, and power-to-x.

In offshore wind, Søren has led several strategy and transformation cases and has deep expertise in Tender Excellence, where he has led several projects in both the European and US market. Clients in the offshore wind space spans global leading players across utilities, OEMs, project developers, grid operators and energy consumers.

Prior to joining Bain, he worked in the Danish Ministry of Finance for almost 5 years.

Søren holds an M.Sc. in Political Science from Aarhus University and Humboldt University, Berlin.
