Martha Eggenberger is the leader of Bain's Utilities & Renewables practice in the Americas. She is also a leader in the firm's Energy & Natural Resources practice.
She advises electric and gas utilities across North America on large-scale transformations, including modernizing distribution networks, elevating the customer experience, and addressing the regulatory, operational, and engineering shifts required to drive growth. Her work also spans cost improvement, organizational design, and change management. Additionally, she supports our private equity clients in energy-related diligence and portfolio strategies.
Beyond the energy sector, Martha works with non-profit clients in Canada, with a particular focus on advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
Prior to joining Bain, she worked as a professional engineer in power system planning and engineering design. She holds an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Brunswick.
