We welcome advanced degrees (graduate students, post docs, and medical residents) to join us for a one-week program that immerses you in the consulting world and life at Bain. You’ll be trained and then staffed on an actual case team working with clients. It’s an opportunity to develop your business acumen, expand outside academia, and learn first-hand what it’s like to be a Bain consultant.

An exciting alternative to academia

Open exclusively to advanced degrees and hosted by North American offices, your ADvantage experience begins with one full day of training followed by four days staffed on a real case team managing your own workstream. Throughout the program, you’ll enjoy a variety of social activities to meet the members of our teams, experience our rich and unique culture, and connect with leaders and mentors who’ll share their own Bain journey.  At the end of the program, you’ll get to present your findings to the case team.

ADvantage is designed to help you apply your problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills to a real business problem facing our clients. It’s a bridge from academia to industry, and at the end, if successful, you’ll receive a full-time consultant offer to join the office where you completed the program—so be sure to select an office where you’d be excited to work.
