Bain & Company’s Tamara Lewis to head its Seattle office

NEW YORK – February 5, 2024 – Bain & Company has appointed Tamara Lewis, a 15-year veteran of the firm, to lead its Seattle office. Tamara was a founding member of Bain’s Seattle office in 2018 and is a leader in the firm’s Machinery & Equipment, Technology, and Transformation practices.

Bain’s Seattle office has grown fourfold since it opened five years ago. Its client portfolio reflects the diverse and dynamic local economy, with particular emphasis on industries such as retail, technology, telecommunications, and industrial. Additionally, Bain’s Seattle office continues to invest in the local community, having helped launch the public-private partnership Career Connect Washington and supporting the state to enroll nearly 15,000 students in Career Launch programs.

Tamara has an extensive track record of supporting change-oriented leaders in cross-functional business transformations. Her work has focused on reimagining business models and repositioning organizations for growth by embedding new capabilities.

At Bain, Tamara has held numerous leadership roles across professional development, HR, and global training and is a recipient of Bain’s global Bright-Dix Award for excellence in professional development. She joined Bain’s Boston office in 2008, as an associate consultant, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University.
