ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Technology Experienced Consultant, you'll join Bain as part of the consulting workforce, as fully integrated member of Bain's consulting team - applying your problem-solving, leadership and analytical skills across a wide range of industries and client challenges. Like all Bain consultants, you will work at the heart of our case teams, helping organizations make their most critical decisions and deliver meaningful, lasting change. WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Bain Consultant, your analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, business management and leadership skills will be called upon from day one. You will be in the thick of the action as you work side by side with some of the best in the business on the most important topics for our clients, while helping create change.
Your role will also span the full lifecycle of strategic technology engagement — from defining ambition to shaping actionable roadmaps and delivering measurable impact. You will work together with teams who will together:
- Drive technology-driven value creation: Identify how digital, data, and tech innovation (e.g., AI, cloud, automation) can enable new business models, generate cost savings, enhance customer experience, or open new revenue streams as part of broader transformation efforts.
- Guide strategic technology decisions: Support clients in making pivotal choices around platform selection, build-vs-buy decisions, and legacy modernization, ensuring technology investments align with business ambition and strategic priorities.
- Shape technology roadmaps and prioritization: Design future-state architectures and pragmatic, phased roadmaps that connect technology investment to measurable business outcomes.
- Lead innovation scouting and emerging tech assessments: Evaluate disruptive technology trends (e.g., Generative AI, low-code platforms, edge computing) and assess their relevance, maturity, and applicability to client industries and objectives.
- Support technology diligence and scaling: For private equity and corporate clients, assess technology platforms, operating models, and scalability potential to inform investment and value creation planning.
- Collaborate and build capability: Partner with senior Bain leaders and client executives to translate strategy into execution, while contributing to the growth of Bain’s various Technology practices through IP development and global knowledge sharing.

ABOUT YOU
We’re seeking individuals with a strong combination of business acumen, analytical rigour, and a passion for technology-driven impact. You have experience in strategy consulting, and most of your work thusfar has evolved around working on various strategic consulting cases.
You additionally have:
- Experience in strategic technology consulting or strategic roles within technology functions at top-tier organisations where technology has played a pivotal role in driving business outcomes.
- Alternatively, experience in strategy roles at tech scale-ups or a background in engineering or computer science with a strong interest in business transformation.
Proven track record in one or more of the following areas:
- Strategic consulting as a member of a case team
- Technology and digital transformations
- Enterprise architecture and technology strategy
- Technology operating model design and performance improvement
- Data, cloud, or AI-enabled business innovation
And you bring:
- A robust analytical skillset and structured problem-solving capability.
- Curiosity, creativity, and a passion for tackling complex challenges.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset — comfortable working in diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Fluency in English; please check the language requirements for the office of your interest.
- Minimum of Bachelors or Masters degree combined with 2 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Advanced degrees (MBA, PhD) are valued but not mandatory.
