We work closely with our clients, recruitment agencies, and alumni network to deliver tailored career coaching and strategic guidance. As a Senior Manager in Bain’s Career Advisory Group, you will:

  • Career Support (70%)

    • Provide one-on-one confidential career support for employees across their full career lifecycle (onboarding to departure) in assigned offices.
    • Build relationships with employers, clients, recruitment agencies, and alumni to keep a pulse on industry trends and the job climate.
    • Lead training sessions on career planning and career coaching-related topics.
  • Execute the Bain Career Advisory global strategy (20%)

    • Collaborate with the APAC BCA leader to set aspirations, goals, and metrics to measure success in assigned offices.
    • Act as a trusted thought partner to the leadership team and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify career support needs and embed a career culture.
    • Regularly analyze career support metrics to monitor employee experience and proactively provide recommendations to office leadership.
  • Talent Advisory Support (10%)

    • Build BCA’s professional network across APAC in collaboration with account management teams.
    • Drive increased awareness of BCA’s talent advisory capabilities among local Bain leadership teams.
    • Assist Bain clients and alumni with mid-level talent needs by helping identify departing Bain employees or alumni candidates for relevant open roles.

ABOUT YOU

  • Education

    • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
    • International Coaching Federation (ICF) Accredited training, coursework, or certification is advantageous.
  • Experience

    • A minimum of 15 years of work experience, with at least 10 in career coaching, executive search
    • Proven track record of effectively managing senior stakeholder relationships.
    • Experience leading end-to-end strategic programs, ideally within talent-related initiatives across diverse employee populations.
    • Extensive network of leadership recruiting/search relationships and in-depth knowledge of one or more APAC job markets.
    • We are looking for a strong enterprising background in Executive search + Leadership Coaching

  • Preferred

    • Understanding of professional services and career paths post-consulting.
    • Experience delivering training to diverse audiences.
    • Experience working within a global multinational organization and providing talent-related services across multiple markets in APAC.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Influencing skills and relationship development ability across all levels of the organization.
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with an executive presence.
    • Familiarity with coaching modalities that unlock career progression and experience supporting others at career inflection points.
    • Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering projects independently.
    • Comfort operating within a data-driven environment and delivering insights based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
    • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. Possesses an international mindset and experience navigating cultural differences.
