Share your journey to Bain.
I had a unique journey to Bain. I applied multiple times for my current role because I was confident it was the right place for me and I was not ready to give up.
Through several internships, I realized I wanted to pursue consulting after graduation. I was drawn to the opportunity to work across different industries and projects while learning how to build strong client relationships. While many roles offer that exposure, my conversations with Bainees during recruiting made Bain stand out. The interactions felt genuine and thoughtful, and each one left me more excited about the team and culture.
After falling short in my first attempt, I reached out for feedback, stayed connected, and focused on improving. That persistence paid off when I earned my full time offer. I could not be happier with where I started my career!
How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
I knew Bain was the right place for me because of its strong culture of connection and mentorship, regardless of tenure. As a first year AC, I understood there would be a steep learning curve, and I wanted to be in an environment where support was built into the model. From formal professional development advisors to the informal mentors I have gained across case teams, I am surrounded by people who are invested in my growth and success.

Since joining Bain, I have worked across a variety of cases, each impactful in different ways. I have found that I am most energized when I can work closely with clients to rethink and redesign how they operate. I enjoy the collaboration, the problem solving, and the opportunity to drive tangible change alongside them. Bain has given me consistent exposure to that kind of client interaction, which has been incredibly rewarding.
Outside of client work, being involved in Women at Bain has been equally meaningful. Supporting efforts that create space for women to learn from one another and build a strong network has made a real difference in my experience. It has reinforced the sense of community that first drew me here!
