James Sawabini

James Sawabini is a member of our Private Equity practice and co-leads its Cybersecurity sub-sector. He is also a member of the Technology & Cloud Services practice.

James' clients include leading buy-out and growth equity investors. He advises on due diligence and post-acquisition strategy, with a particular focus on enterprise software (over 100 projects completed). James has also led internal strategy work focused on AI and innovation at Bain. 

Before joining us, James was an entrepreneur building solar businesses in emerging markets. He graduated from Harvard Business School, where he met his wife. He is also a graduate of Duke University and Philips Academy.
