Martin has over 25 years of experience advising global leaders in Private Equity and Consumer Products on Strategy, Transformation and Value Creation. He currently leads the global thought leadership agenda for our Strategy & Transformation practice, coordinating the efforts of a vibrant community of experts and thought leaders and directly shaping flagship Bain IP and publications.
After parting with Bain briefly to become an author, Martin returned as a partner in 2024 with the mission to bring our most provocative, breakthrough ideas to our teams who work with clients every day. Martin has refreshed our approach to full potential, sharpened our perspectives on value creation and helping leaders embrace change, and tackled new perspectives on real world challenges including AI in the C-suite, navigating uncertainty, and making predictions. He commissioned and is the editor for an internal newsletter for global partners on the core principles of Strategy & Transformation and their modern applications for clients today.
Martin is a passionate reader, writer, and guitarist. He serves on the board of Second Stage Theater, a nonprofit dedicated to presenting work by living American playwrights. He lives in New York’s Hudson Valley.
