Alfredo Pinto is a director based in Bain & Company's São Paulo office. He serves as office head of Bain's South American offices and is an expert in the firm's Financial Services and Customer Strategy & Marketing practices.
He joined the firm in 2000 and has more than 17 years of experience in management consulting.
Alfredo has worked with top management of large national and multinational groups across several industries, including retail, education, energy, sewage, publishing, telecommunications, consumer goods and technology.
He has also led engagements addressing the definition of business unit strategy, portfolio strategy, corporate restructuring, investment strategy, M&A, start-up business plan, alliance/JV strategy, customer service strategy, cash management, cost reduction, performance improvement, process redesign and organizational redesign.
Prior to joining Bain, Alfredo worked as an operations manager for 3 years at Procter & Gamble in both Brazil and Canada.
He graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Brazil) and holds an MBA from The Anderson School at the University of California, Los Angeles (USA).
He is fluent in Portuguese and English.
