ORIT GADIESH: I just came out of the panel that I moderated. And it was a plenary with Malala, who won the Nobel Prize for peace in 2014, with Fabiola Gianotti, who was the first general director of CERN, which is quite an amazing position. She's also a cochair of the annual meeting this year. And then with Prime Minister Trudeau of Canada.

And the topic really was creating a future through education and empowerment, really how should we think about education and empowerment for the future. And it actually became a panel or discussion about just about everything.

By the time you talk about education and empowerment, you're talking about the jobs of tomorrow, you're talking about the jobs of today. You're talking about diversity, you're talking about what business can be doing there, what the government is doing, what institutions like CERN, obviously the educational CERNs, can do, what foundations like Malala can do. So it was a pretty lively conversation.
