How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?

During my sophomore summer, I attended multiple info sessions / online Q&As from various consulting firms and immediately noticed how unique Bain's people culture was. There is a type of shared camaraderie that I didn't get the feel of anywhere else. The people I work with are more of friends than colleagues, and the collaborative nature of Bain makes that possible. I come to work excited that I get to see my friends, solve problems with them, and learn alongside them. From kayaking in Carmel to skipping around the streets of Dublin, Ireland, some of my fondest memories post grad has been with fellow Bainies!

“Build Your Own Bain” means creating a thriving career on your own terms. How have you been able to “Build Your Own Bain?”

Bain offers so many opportunities for you to find your own niche and community. Firstly, on your case, people are extremely receptive to your career or personal goals. In fact, we have chats with our supervisors weekly to discuss opportunities like "I want more Excel practice, can you give me more exposure to Excel related work?" Or, "I really want to attend a Yoga class this week, how do we make that happen?" I am a big advocate of vouching for the things you want, and Bain has been very receptive. But outside of casework, there are tons of places to find your home. I've helped plan hot yoga or cycling workouts with Women at Bain and am even a family head for Asians at Bain! And, I've always loved sharing my experiences and am lucky enough to play an active role in many of Bain's recruiting events!
