Share your journey to Bain.

I’ve always had a passion to drive the discovery and translation of new therapeutics but being a traditional doctor or scientist wasn’t the best long-term fit. After earning my PhD and satisfying the itch to be ‘there at discovery,’ I turned to Bain as a way to learn about the many steps in successfully driving innovation in the healthcare space. Additionally, I was drawn to Bain’s dedication to DEI efforts within the firm, with our clients, and broadly in our society.

How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?

The people. I felt immediately supported as an individual when I started interacting with Bainies a full year before I joined the company. In that time, I received powerful mentorship that only continued to grow as I stepped into my first role outside of science. You spend so much time with colleagues. It's important for me to both enjoy being with them and aspire to grow personally because of them. I didn't feel that as powerfully in the other spaces.

My favorite work without question has been a pro bono case working with a non-profit origination to develop the CEO agenda for corporate action against racial wealth inequity in America. It’s wild and challenging, but deeply inspirational. I love that I’ve been able to deeply invest in both my passions of healthcare and DEI just a little over a year into Bain.
