Share your journey to Bain.

After starting university, I chose to help run my family’s wholesale greengrocer business. Working alongside my dad taught me a lot about operations, client service, and teamwork. After the business was sold, I joined an accounting firm as an audit apprentice. Over five years, I worked with global and local clients while completing my ACA. I eventually felt ready for a new challenge and was drawn to Bain for the opportunity to solve complex problems and create impact.

What made Bain stand out during the recruitment process?

The people. Everyone I met was authentic, collaborative, and focused on growth. The interviews were challenging but enjoyable and gave me a clear sense of the development opportunities Bain could offer. What stood out most was how supportive and genuine everyone was, right from the start. The interview process was the best I’ve ever been part of. I remember thinking, “If the interview experience is this good, I can only imagine how great it must be to actually work here.”

How have you been able to "Build Your Own Bain"?

From my first day, I’ve had the freedom to shape my own path. Whether through different types of case work, targeted training, or longer-term options like experience sharing, Bain encourages you to grow in the way that fits you best.

What’s been a highlight of your time so far?

Seeing the final deliverable on my first case. It was a proud moment to know I’d helped create something meaningful for the client. Every case since has brought new challenges and opportunities to grow.

Why did you choose the London office?

London has always been home, and being based here made sense personally and professionally. It’s one of Bain’s largest offices, offering a wide range of client work and a strong sense of community. From social events to affinity groups, it’s a great place to build connections and grow your career.
