Jason Kelvin

Jason Kelvin is a partner in our Financial Services practice. He has more than 20 years of experience as both a trusted advisor and a senior operator, working with clients across insurance, banking, and wealth and asset management.

Jason has directed the full-potential transformation that carried a life insurer and wealth and asset manager from sixth to the most valuable publicly traded player in its North American peer group. He has spearheaded cost-reduction programs of more than $1 billion, driven customer-loyalty gains of nearly 30 NPS points, and set enterprise and M&A strategy for several leading public and private financial institutions. Jason has also helped clients deploy AI solutions that drive market-leading customer growth and advisor productivity.

Jason brings the unique perspective of having sat in the client's seat. Before joining Bain, he spent nearly a decade leading enterprise strategy and the Transformation Office at a Fortune Global 200 insurer, ultimately as its Chief Strategy Officer, through the company's most significant era of value creation. Jason also has P&L leadership experience doubling the earnings profile of a $500B asset management business.

Earlier in his career, he advised financial institutions and consumer companies on customer-led transformations. Having lived and worked across the US, Europe, Canada, South America, and throughout Asia, he offers clients a global perspective.

He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a dual Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts from Queen's University.

Jason is an avid skier and tennis player. He is married and has two sons.
