Luís Renato Oliveira

Luís Renato Oliveira is an expert in the firm's Energy & Natural Resources, Agribusiness and Retail practices.

He joined Bain in 2002 and has 15 years of management consulting experience.

Luís has worked with top management of large national and multinational groups in several industries such as retail, agribusiness, steel, metals, mining, logistics, pulp & paper, food, hygiene, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

He has led engagements addressing business unit growth strategy, performance improvement programs, post-merger integration, business plan for new operations, design and implementation of marketing and commercial effectiveness programs, supply chain, manufacturing, cost reduction, and organization.

Prior to joining Bain, Luís worked at Vergent Partners, where he took part in M&A and valuation projects. He also worked at KölnMesse International in Germany in the sales & marketing department, and in the Corporate Finance department at Motorola.

Luís graduated in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Brazil), and concluded the Program in International Management at University of Cologne (Germany).

He is fluent in Portuguese and English, and has good knowledge of German and Spanish.
