Luke Finnestad

Luke Finnestad is a member of our Private Equity, Industrials, Infrastructure and Energy & Natural Resources practices.

Since joining the firm in 2010, Luke has advised private equity clients on topics including commercial due diligence, add-on diligence, deal generation and screening, as well as sector screening and review. This experience spans several end markets, including heavy machinery and equipment, industrial distribution, industrial services, infrastructure, oil & gas, power generation and wind, as well as specialty and performance chemicals.

Prior to joining the firm, Luke worked in the strategic research unit of The Hartford Financial Services Group, developing strategic initiatives for the small commercial insurance business. Prior to doing so, he worked as a market research consultant for another top firm, serving consumer products, financial services and technology clients in areas such as customer satisfaction, new product development and customer segmentation. 

Luke earned an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma and served as the president of the school’s consulting association.

He is also an alumnus of the Boston University School of Management, from which he graduated with honors in business, with a focus on statistical research.
