Per Karlsson

Per Karlsson is a member of our Advanced Manufacturing & Services and Energy & Natural Resources practices.

He recently served as a partner for Qvartz prior to the firm's integration with us, which collectively formed our new Nordics practice, in early 2020. 

A 15-year consulting veteran, Per has established deep expertise across growth, sustainability and corporate portfolio strategy. He has also led various transformation and reorganization projects.

His recent casework includes:

• The construction of a revised corporate strategy for a Nordic industrial goods group;
• The transformation of a Nordic public transportation company toward a cost-competitive broad mobility company; and
• The roadmapping of a global renewable power expansion strategy for a key European industrial player.

He has also authored various op-eds and reports on climate and competitiveness.

Before joining Qvartz in 2015, Per worked as an advisor on sustainability and industry competitiveness for a political think tank. He also worked as a consultant for another top firm.

Per has two small kids and in addition to spending time with his family he enjoys golf and being out in nature - running, hiking and skiing.

He holds an MBA from INSEAD (France and Singapore) and an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Linköping School of Technology (Sweden).
