Simon Holm Klange

Simon Klange Holm is an Associate Partner in Bain's Copenhagen office and a leader in the Energy & Natural Resources practice, focused on strategy, transformation and performance improvement.

He specialises in renewables, large capital projects and advanced manufacturing, with deep expertise in the energy transition, offshore wind and energy distribution.

In nine years with Bain, Simon has led engagements spanning strategy development and execution, organizational transformation, cost optimization, and project acceleration across the full value chain.

He is a core member of Bain's Capital Projects Acceleration (CPA) team and a co-author of Bain's offshore wind capital projects delivery playbook - working integrated with client project teams to unlock material cost and schedule improvements on pre- and post-FID assets.

Simon also advises clients on strategic M&A and post-merger integration, including buy-and-build platforms in renewables services and structural options for industrial portfolios.

His clients in energy and renewables span leading utilities, developers, OEMs and suppliers, with a primary focus on the Nordic region.

Prior to Bain, he worked at the Danish Ministry of Finance.

He holds an MPP from the Hertie School of Governance and a B.Sc. in International Business & Politics from Copenhagen Business School.
