Steve Filler

Steve is a member of our Healthcare and Life Sciences practice.

He is a global expert in healthcare technology and software solutions, with a focus on the provider, payer, and medical device sectors. His work centers on the product life cycle, strategy, and growth for technology companies. Steve has advised many of the leading health systems in the US and internationally, and he has worked directly with more than 20 of the top healthcare IT companies. He has also participated in over 200 diligences in the healthcare technology space.

Before joining Bain, Steve was the COO at symplr and Practice Fusion (now Veradigm), and previously held a global digital health leadership role at a major consulting firm.

He holds a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Minnesota, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Lawrence University. Outside of work, Steve enjoys training for triathlons and playing golf.
