Zach Cole

Zach Cole is a member of our Energy & Natural Resources and Advanced Manufacturing & Services practices.

He has 10 years of experience working with leading renewables/utility, chemicals, oil and gas, manufacturing, defence, and mining clients in Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and North America.

Zach advises clients on their key strategic and operational questions across their businesses, with a particular focus on growth strategy and building strategies to address the opportunities and challenges of the energy transition. Zach's case portfolio includes due diligences for corporates and private equity funds on energy transition opportunities across sectors.

Some examples of his recent casework include full potential transformation for a leading manufacturing (defense) company, adjacency growth strategy within specialty chemicals, and several customer excellence assignments to support hydrogen and offshore wind developers secure offtake for projects.

In addition to his client work, Zach has also gained experience as a senior strategy advisor to a major European renewable energy utility.

Zach leads Bain's well-being and development program in the Oslo office. In his personal time, Zach is a passionate outdoorsman who enjoys running, biking, hiking and skiing. He is also the proud parent of two small girls.

He holds a double degree in law and economics with first-class honours from the University of Western Australia.
