Andrea has 20 years of consulting experience across the UK, Italy, South Africa and Southeast Asia, and has worked extensively across Europe and the US. He has advised clients in a wide range of industries including oil and gas, chemicals, private equity, utilities, automotive and media.
Andrea's expertise covers growth and competitive strategy, marketing and sales performance improvement, operations improvement, acquisition evaluation, cost reduction and post-merger integration. He has led major transformation programs at global, private equity-owned companies, involving strategy development, expansion in emerging markets, commercial restructuring, marketing and sales effectiveness and product line extension, as well as large operations improvement programs in the oil and gas and utilities sectors.
Andrea is also a champion for Bain's Results Delivery® practice, which focuses on delivering results through effective deployment of change in organizations.
Andrea previously served as managing director of Allison S.p.A., one of the leading global producers of luxury eyewear, which holds licenses for many leading brands. He oversaw significant growth in Allison's license portfolio and sales, followed by major operational and financial restructuring after the 2008 global crisis.
He has a BSc magna cum laude in business administration from Bocconi University in Milan.
