Michael DuVall

Mike DuVall is a leader in Bain's Operations practice.

For more than 25 years, Mike has helped clients achieving step-change improvements in operations and created market-back strategies for competitive advantage. His client portfolio spans North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Mike is a deep expert in operations strategy. His relevant case experience includes supply chain reinvention, manufacturing footprint and make/buy, vertical integration, logistics strategy, complexity management and organization design.

Prior to joining Bain, Mike worked for another international strategy consulting firm where he headed up its U.S. supply chain practice. He began his career with Caterpillar, working in various manufacturing engineering and management roles.

He earned an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

In his free time Mike is avid runner and golfer.
