“We now have a $100-billion-plus real estate business that lends in the US, lends in Europe,” Kipp says, “but the focus has been to play into the areas of the new economy, so it’s a lot of multifamily, a lot of industrial and logistics, and it’s increasingly in digital and data centers.”

We’ll also explore Ares’ evolution from financing data centers to developing them directly.
