Rasmus Wegener

Rasmus is a seasoned adviser and partner to senior client executives and boards, with more than 25 years of experience in management consulting. He focuses on business transformations and turnarounds across a broad range of industries, regularly coordinating multi-national and multi-team engagements. His insights on digital transformations and big data have been published around the world and in leading business publications such as The Wall Street Journal.

Rasmus leads Bain’s Digital practice, Vector, in the Americas.  He’s also a senior leader in Bain’s Transformation and Change practice and the founder of Bain’s Advanced Analytics practice.  In addition, he also is a senior member of the firm’s Technology, Private Equity, and Enterprise Technology practices. Rasmus holds extensive experience in commercial excellence, pricing, innovation and design.

Rasmus is a member of the board of the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta and served as the partner lead for the Atlanta office’s pro bono and community outreach efforts.

Prior to joining Bain, Rasmus was a medical physicist, specializing in the radiobiological optimization of cancer treatment protocols. He completed his MS work at the University of Utah and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Tuebingen.
